what are dental implants?

Dental implants are artificial teeth that resemble natural teeth. made up of titanium,
placed to replace missing teeth.

Implant surgery can be done by any specialist dentist or general dentist, who was trained
in implantology.

There are many types of dental implants / systems. usually implant placing involves two stages
Implant placement and prosthesis. after the implant placement into the bone it normally takes
3 to 4 months for placing final supported tooth.

The complications with dental implants are minimal ,except for medically compromised patients.
presently in India the cost of surgery for each dental implant is between rs 25000 to rs 50,000.

In future the cost may be much reduced ,with inflow of more economical dental implants & kits
into the market.....

visit dentist every six months

Do you know ,you should consult dentist once in six months  though

you brush properly some deposits  may accumulate between your teeth and start  

spoiling your gums , finally ends up in loosening

Which is the best tooth paste available in the market?

All commercial tooth pastes are same. You can use any of them.

Tooth brush plays more vital role  in brushing than tooth paste.

Paste acts as only a lubricant for tooth brush to clean your teeth.

i.e why it is brushing and not pasting.

Select a  proper tooth brush based on the condition of your teeth & gums.

For tender gums & sensitive teeth use smooth bristle brush.

With moderate conditions use medium type.

Do not use hard brush as it could damage your gums and teeth

What causes bad breath?

Bad breath or halitosis:-  Many factors are responsible for causing bad breath.

Like local and systemic factors. Local factors include oral hygiene/ tartar deposits.

Gum diseases like gingivitis and periodontis.

Systemic factors include diabetes, indigestion and G I problems.

Bad breath is also noticed after taking particular drugs.
